About the Event
Conceptualised by X-Change Republic Pte Ltd, Run Free is a run that is FREE for all. Breaking through the perception that taking part in a run comes with a cost. Run Free sets out to adopt the No-Frills Concept, allowing every runner to participate in the run at no cost - with the option to take part in either of the two race categories, 5 or 10 kilometres. By offering the freedom of choice to purchase only the add-ons you wish to enjoy, every dollar spent is used wisely.
How Does it Work
- There is no age limit.
- Participants aged 12 years old and below will be required to fill up the indemnity form found here.
Race Pack Collection
Date: 29th to 30th April
Time: 10am to 8pm
Location: Novena Velocity, Atrium outside KFC (238 Thomson Road, Singapore 307683)
Please bring along:
1. Your Photo Identification or NRIC
2. Race Confirmation Email/Slip
You may authorize a representative to collect on your behalf. Your representative must product the following for collection:
1. NRIC or photo ID for verification purposes
2. A copy of the race confirmation email/slip

Race Day FAQ
Would the timing be recorded based on gun time or nett time?
A. Timing will be recorded based on the “Gun Time” and "Nett Time".
What is the cut off timing for both race categories?
5KM Race Category: 2hrs
10KM Race Category: 3hrs
What time should i arrive on the event day?
A. Do come 30-60 minutes in advance for smooth process should you have opted for the baggage deposit service, before your allocated flag-off time.
What is the recommended attire on the race day?
A. Proper running attire and shoes.
Will there be baggage deposit service available?
A. Baggage deposit will only be made available to runners who opt to purchase the add-on baggage deposit service. Runners are encouraged to arrive early to deposit their bags and avoid any delay as a queue is expected. *Security will be enforced at the event. However, do note that Race Organisers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of items. Participants who choose to use this service may do so at their own risk.
WIll there be an official photographer?
A. Yes, Photography and/or videography will be taken during the event for news and publicity purposes by the official photographer/s and/or videographer/s. The Organisers owns all rights to the photographs and video recordings.
Am i allowed to bring my camera or mobile into the race?
A. Yes. However, we strongly advise you to be extra careful with your devices.
What if I get hurt during the race?
A. Should you injure yourself during the run, notify the race marshals. Immediate action will be taken to ensure you get the appropriate medical attention.
What happens if it rains during the event?
A. If it rains, the event may continue. In event of lightning risk, runners who are on route will be diverted by the race marshals to nearby sheltered areas. For the safety and well being of all runners, the Organisers may decide to call off the race in view of bad weather.
Will I be refunded if the race is called off due to bad weather, etc?
A. If the race has to be cancelled, there will be no refund of any payment made related to the event. This is stated under the rules and regulations.
